A Heart Surrendered . . .
building empathy in the hearts of our children.
WELCOME!
A Heart Surrendered is a global learning project geared towards students in grades 3-6 (ages 8-11 years). Its purpose is to engage classrooms around the globe in empathy-building activities that motivate and encourage one another to participate in, and create, social action projects benefiting their communities, nations, and the world.

We are a culturally diverse planet that, at times, lets our differences divide us. A Heart Surrendered is an opportunity to break down the barriers and misconceptions that keep us apart and work together for the benefit of all. It is essential that our students understand that quality of life and dignity are the right of all people. After taking some time to examine the Project Guide and Resources provided, we hope that you will join us and build hearts that make a difference!
